HELLENIC CHILDREN’S MUSEUM          14, Kydathinaion St, Plaka   210 331 2995-6

A kind of a short-term educational program is made up by the activities that take place every weekend at the exhibition hall of the Children's Museum. These activities help children to approach the museum and acquire knowledge through the use of objects. Each educational activity lasts 45 minutes and is repeated many times all through the day.

For the school year of 2003-2004 different educational activities have been scheduled. All of them are thematically related with the tribute that peaks with the "party" of each month's last Sunday. Apart from discovering knowledge and entertainment, the tributes aim at familiarizing children with the museum and helping them approach museums in an alternative way.

The museum is open from 10.00 – 18.00  Admission 8€ children 4 – 12, 7€ groups of three or more (per child) Admission free to children under 4 or over 12. It is advisable to phone and book places prior to visit.

Workshops for children are run all through the winter every Sunday, unfortunately an itemised programme was not available at the time of writing, please call the museum for specific details.
